The Dolomites are that wonderful mountain range located in north-eastern Italy, shared between the provinces of Belluno, South Tyrol and Trentino.

The Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their beauty and scientific importance geological and geomorphological.

The mountain ranges, characterized by a predominance of dolomite, is a part of Southern Limestone Alps and extends from the River Adige in the west to the Piave Valley (Pieve di Cadore) in the east. The Dolomites are famous for skiing in the winter months and mountain climbing, hiking, climbing, as well as paragliding and hang gliding in summer and late spring/early autumn.
